Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Massage Therapists for Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas. You will provide luxurious treatments, create a calming experience for guests, and contribute to our award-winning spa service.

Responsibilities include setting up treatment rooms, maintaining sanitation, ensuring on-time start/finish of sessions, encouraging guest upgrades, and supporting retail sales. On-call availability and a professional appearance are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience in massage therapy, preferably in an upscale spa.
Proficient skills in traditional and modern forms of massage.
Ability to clearly communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Provide the highest possible standard of treatment and create a sensory journey for guests.
Set up treatment rooms according to procedures and dispose of laundry in a timely basis.
Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment per state board guidelines.
Ensure all professional stock is used in compliance with PAR levels to reduce waste.
Begin and end treatments at the published time and follow established procedures.
Strive to encourage upgrades and produce a minimum of 10% in retail sales per day/week/month.
