Little Mama’s Italian Kitchen in Cornelius, NC is hiring servers for full-time roles. You’ll provide attentive service, guide guests through the menu, and work with a close team to ensure memorable dining experiences.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of upscale dining serving experience, excellent communication, and a positive attitude. Flexible scheduling, growth opportunities, and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of previous serving experience in an upscale-casual or fine-dining establishment.
• Can provide spectacular hospitality for our guests
• Must have open availability
• Enjoys working in a stimulating team-based environment
• Dependable and has a positive attitude
• Maintains a calm and cool presence during the shift with a genuine smile
• Can lift at least 25 pounds
• Can stand for long periods of time
• Has excellent communication skills
• Wine knowledge is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide great service by maintaining your tables to FS Food Group standards.
• Make our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them
• Know regulars by name (know their preferences and needs)
• Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
• Take food and beverage orders and enter orders in the POS
• Make the restaurant a place you would like to eat by keeping it clean and friendly
• Communicate regularly with your tables and anticipate their needs
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the entire restaurant
