Benihana - Ft Lauderdale is seeking a friendly and energetic Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced, upscale setting. You will greet guests, explain the menu and pairings, take and relay orders, and ensure timely, accurate service while maintaining an inviting atmosphere.

Candidates should have prior serving experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask during busy service periods. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, upscale dining environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails is beneficial.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication with a guest-first attitude is essential.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the dining experience.
• Provide detailed knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverage pairings.
• Take accurate orders and input into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly with proper presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns professionally.
• Assist team members to maintain smooth service flow.
• Perform opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Maintain clean, organized service areas throughout the shift.
• Process payments, issue receipts, and thank guests.
