Job summary

Loews New Orleans Hotel in the Warehouse District seeks a friendly Restaurant Server to provide exceptional table service, deliver food and beverages, and anticipate guest needs to create a memorable dining experience. You will contribute to the restaurant's atmosphere, guest satisfaction, and overall success while upholding service standards.

Applicants should have hospitality experience, strong guest service and communication skills, and be able to stand and lift up to 40–50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40-50 pounds as needed
• Experience with POS systems
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit
• Process payments accurately using POS systems
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties
• Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service
• Address guest concerns professionally and elevate when needed
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
