Delano Miami Beach is seeking a Host to warmly welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and support the front‑of‑house team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Under the Head Host, you will maintain flow, communicate wait times, and help train new hosts while upholding hospitality standards and a positive first impression for every guest. This on-site role requires a neat appearance, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced luxury dining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality in upscale or fast-paced dining.
• Strong knowledge of front-of-house operations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Physically able to stand for eight hours per shift.
• Must maintain neat appearance and follow uniform guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, waitlists and seating assignments.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen for smooth guest flow.
• Communicate wait times and seating availability.
• Assist in training new hosts and uphold service standards.
• Maintain host station cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor guest feedback and report issues to management.
• Adhere to health and restaurant policies.
• Support team morale and collaboration.
• Submit daily reports to management.
• Assist with other front-of-house tasks as needed.
