Job summary

Valley Country Club in Aurora, CO is seeking friendly servers to join our dining team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences. The server will take and serve orders, ensuring accuracy and timely service while representing the club’s standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Working knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails preferred; willingness to learn required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, flawless, and friendly service to guests.
• Take and confirm food and beverage orders using POS.
• Monitor pacing and ensure items are delivered promptly.
• Present menu items and daily specials with recommendations.
• Refill drinks and clear plates to anticipate guest needs.
• Follow proper service techniques across tray, table, and cocktail services.
• Engage members professionally and remember preferences.
• Handle guest concerns with urgency and discretion.
• Maintain appearance and station cleanliness.
• Work with team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and tastings.
• Assist during peak periods with running food and refills.
