Job summary

IPP - Independent Pet Partners is seeking a professional Groomer to provide upscale grooming services, from baths to trims, for a variety of breeds. You will engage with pet parents, educate them on care options, and help ensure each visit supports pet wellness.

We offer a generous compensation structure with a potential hiring bonus up to $1,500, benefits including insurance and PTO, and flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 6 months of professional grooming experience.
• Grooming certification preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Excellent active-listening and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of breed standard grooms.

Responsibilities

• Complete superior grooms (bathing, brushing, blow drying, de-matting, trimming).
• Provide hands-on pet check-in and check-out process for each pet and pet parent.
• Educate pet parents and share product knowledge.
• Offer enhancements to meet pet’s and pet parent’s specific needs to grow the business.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Rebook with pet parents to promote pet wellness.
• Interact with pet parents via email, text, and phone with proactive communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
