Job summary

IPP - Independent Pet Partners is seeking a professional Groomer to provide upscale grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and more, to improve pet appearance and well-being. You will engage with pet parents and deliver outstanding customer service.

The role requires at least 6 months grooming experience, the ability to work evenings/weekends, and a passion for small to large breeds. Full-time team members enjoy comprehensive benefits and potential for this year's earnings up

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 6 months of professional grooming experience.
• Grooming tools/equipment in good working condition.
• Passion for dog grooming and the well-being of pets.
• Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Exceptional active-listening and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete superior grooms (bathing, brushing, blow drying, de-matting, cutting or trimming hair), gland expression, teeth brushing, nail clipping.
• Provide a thorough hands-on pet check-in and check-out for each pet and parent.
• Use good judgment and alert pet parent of any anomalies.
• Engage pet parents with product knowledge and education.
• Offer enhancements to meet pet and parent needs to grow the business.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Rebook clients to ensure ongoing care.
• Other duties as assigned.
