Soho House is seeking a Pastry Cook I to collaborate with the Pastry Chef, crafting simple yet memorable desserts, pastries and sweet goods. You’ll manage all pastry kitchen activities, prep, production, and assist with COGS.

A successful candidate has 3+ years in a fast-paced upscale kitchen, can lead on stations, ensure quality and safety, and adapt to shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 3+ years in a fast pace, upscale environment.
• Strong understanding of pastry from scratch and plating.
• Proven ability to execute all menu items on all stations.
• Food handler's certificate.
• Strong communicator and team player.
• Flexible mornings/nights/weekends/holidays.
• Creativity to develop recipes from scratch.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare house-made pastries across pastry stations for a-la-carte or production.
• Assist Pastry Chef with inventory, purchasing, and controlling food cost.
• Supervise Pastry Cook(s) including onboarding and training.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and company standards.
• Ensure precise plating and timely delivery of finished desserts.
• Support end-of-shift reports and handover sheets.
• Maintain Soho House service standards and positive team environment.
