Job summary

The Biltmore Estate is seeking an Inn PM Lounge Server (Part-time) to warmly greet guests in the Bar and Lounge, take orders, and enter them into the POS system while delivering gracious, upscale service in line with Biltmore standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating food and beverage service, maintaining the Lounge and service areas, and upholding Forbes and Lodging standards. Evening and weekend availability preferred for a world-class guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience as a restaurant server or cocktail server.
• Minimum age of 18 to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Fluency in English and ability to compute basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in Lounge.
• Take orders and enter them into POS system.
• Supply guests with snacks and napkins as needed.
• Serve food and beverages according to standards.
• Ensure guests have appropriate silverware and condiments.
• Clear dirty glassware and china quickly.
• Present guest check and process payment accurately.
• Keep tables clean and free of debris.
• Anticipate guests' needs and maintain positive relations.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain Forbes and Lodging standards.
