Job summary

The Biltmore Company is seeking a flexible Server to work 20-29 hours per week, delivering world-class dining experiences at our resort restaurant.

Responsibilities include taking guest orders, presenting wines, processing payments, maintaining a spotless dining area, and coordinating with front and back of house to exceed guest expectations. Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays, with ability to lift 25-50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant; 6 months in fine dining/upscale setting preferred.
• Customer-focused service mindset and world-class guest service.
• Excellent guest relations and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Process guest orders to ensure timely preparation.
• Present, open, and pour wine for guests.
• Observe diners and respond to requests; ensure satisfaction.
• Total bills and process payments; refer guests to supervisors when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and beverages; upsell items.
• Work on POS system per guidelines.
• Keep uniform and work area clean and professional.
• Arrive ready to work; may work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
