Job summary

Hilton Milwaukee City Center is seeking a Monarch Lounge Cocktail Server to deliver friendly, attentive beverage and snack service in our upscale Monarch Lounge. You will greet guests, take accurate orders, and explain drink specials while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service (cocktail experience preferred)
• Ability to memorize and promote menu items and beverage offerings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to obtain required licenses and certifications (TIPS certification required; bartender certification preferred)
• Lifts and carries trays up to 40 lbs; stands for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, attentive, and timely beverage and snack service
• Greeting guests and explaining drink specials and promotions
• Taking accurate orders and entering them into the POS system
• Demonstrating knowledge of cocktails, beer selections, taps, and premium brands
• Maintaining cleanliness of tables, stations, and lounge areas
• Replenishing beverages and checking guest satisfaction
• Handling cash in a self-banking environment
• Assisting the bar team and supporting lounge operations
• Adhering to liquor laws and safety standards
• Performing side work and special guest requests
