Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts in downtown Austin is seeking a Lounge Bartender to deliver memorable guest experiences through welcoming service and expert beverage preparation, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.

You will maintain a spotless, well-stocked bar, know menus and promotions, upsell thoughtfully, and collaborate with servers and management to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction while complying with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of bartending experience in upscale settings.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• TABC Certification and Food Handler Certification, or ability to obtain on hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging, and attentive service to guests in accordance with standards.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of cocktails, wine selections, beer offerings, and current promotions.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes; ensure responsible alcohol service and safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked bar and process payments using the POS system.
• Collaborate with servers and management to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
