Job summary

The Wildbirch Hotel in downtown Anchorage is seeking experienced servers for Crimson. Join our winter team and deliver memorable experiences to locals and international travelers alike.

As a server you will welcome guests, confidently suggest menu items and local favorites, take accurate orders, check dietary needs, keep courses moving smoothly, handle payments, and collaborate with hosts, bartenders and runners to maintain a seamless service flow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of serving experience, ideally in upscale, hotel or chef-driven restaurants.
• Friendly, genuine style and a calm approach when it’s busy.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be 21+ and hold, or be able to get, an Alaska TAM card.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and take care of their whole visit, from hello to goodbye.
• Recommend food, drinks and local favorites with confidence.
• Take accurate orders and always ask about allergies and dietary needs.
• Keep each table’s courses on time and check back after food arrives.
• Handle checks and payments quickly and correctly.
• Keep your section stocked, clean and ready, and finish your opening and closing sidework.
• Work as one team with hosts, server assistants, food runners and bartenders.
• Serve alcohol responsibly under Alaska law.
