Job summary

The Curtiss Hotel is hiring a Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Buffalo, NY. You will prep and set up stations, prepare food to guests’ specifications, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Reliable transportation is a must; compensation is $18–$22/hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year working in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• 1 year of culinary education.
• Well groomed, professional appearance.
• Must have flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepping and Setting up station for service
• Preparing food to guest unique specifications paying close attention to allergies or dietary restrictions
• Maintain and clean and safe work environment
• Communicating needs with chefs to ensure product never runs out
• Follow all safety and healthy safety procedures

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

1 year of culinary education
