Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Bartender to ensure outstanding guest service at the Hyatt Regency Times Square. You will prepare beverages, maintain bar cleanliness, and manage inventories while delivering a warm, professional experience to guests and teammates.

The role emphasizes efficiency, accuracy in order-taking, and compliance with liquor laws, with shifts at an hourly rate. Prior bartending experience preferred and TIPS certification required.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Must have TIPS certification.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods.
• Previous bartending experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up bar area and mix drinks, and serve food for guests and servers.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of bar, liquor, beer and wine.
• Provide attentive, friendly, courteous service to guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, resolve issues promptly.
• Attend required meetings and trainings and uphold Highgate standards.
