Job summary

Major Food Group is hiring Hosts to join our team at CARBONE and CARBONE VINO in the Dallas Design District. As one of the first points of contact with guests, you will greet and seat guests, present menus, and communicate wait times while maintaining a warm, professional tone.

The ideal candidate has enthusiasm for hospitality excellence and prior customer service experience. Full-time, flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays are required; you should be able to stand for 8

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant preferred but not required.
• Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of specials.
• Treats guests with enthusiasm and strives to exceed expectations.
• Takes names on a waiting list; manages the floor plan board.
• Answers phone and provides menu and restaurant information.
• Interacts with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
