Job summary

The Sanderling Resort in Duck, NC is seeking a warm, professional Server for The Lifesaving Station, our signature all-day dining outlet. You will greet guests, explain menu features, take accurate orders, and coordinate with culinary and bar teams to ensure timely service while upholding EOS Hospitality standards.

Strong knowledge of menu items, allergens, wine and cocktails, plus excellent guest engagement, are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival to assigned tables.
• Present menus, explain features and specials, and answer questions regarding food and beverage.
• Take accurate orders using the Point of Sale system and coordinate timing with kitchen and bar.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure presentation meets standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and uphold service standards during shifts.
