Job summary

Loews New Orleans Hotel in the Warehouse District seeks a detail-oriented team member to support daily hotel operations. You will conduct inspection rounds, ensure cleanliness, monitor service standards, and assist the Team Leader with staff scheduling and inventory tasks.

Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, plus excellent communication and organizational skills, are essential to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold Loews SOPs across departments.

Qualifications

• Food & Beverage knowledge required.
• Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to make decisions on imperfect information.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make inspection rounds ensuring organization, cleanliness, proper maintenance, adequate supplies.
• Monitor staff adherence to all service standards and SOPs.
• Supervise service of guests and observe guest signals for service needs.
• Assist Team Leader to establish and monitor side work duty completion.
• Maintain bank to SOP, keep it balanced and secure at all times.
• Read daily communication sheets and prepare for the next shift; check staffing coverage.
• Check restaurant for cleanliness and setup; communicate events with restaurant manager.
• Assist Team Leader in conducting menu classes and month-end inventory.
• Communicate with Team Members during service, scheduling, safety, and MSDS.
• Report unsafe working conditions and handle guest checks and cash transactions.
