Job summary

Terrain Events is seeking an experienced bartender to craft premium beverages for large-scale events. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver guest experiences that align with Terrain’s garden-inspired aesthetic.

Requirements include at least 2 years of bartending, RAMP certification, and availability for nights, weekends and holidays. Expect 8–10 hour shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working both indoors and outdoors in various venues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years bartending experience.
• Event catering, banquets, fine dining or upscale hospitality preferred.
• RAMP certification required.
• Fast-paced cocktail execution, teamwork and multitasking under pressure.
• Clear, friendly and professional communication with guests and colleagues.
• Available for nights, weekends and some holidays; at least 3 shifts/month during peak season (Apr–Dec).
• Able to work 8–10 hour shifts; lift up to 50 lbs; indoor/outdoor environments.
• Reliable transportation and weekly recurring availability; typical shift 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as a Terrain representative and provide attentive service.
• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision.
• Execute featured and client-requested cocktails per brand standards.
• Pour wine and beer; maintain knowledge of classic and seasonal cocktails and NA drinks.
• Follow setup checklists; stock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes and tools.
• Maintain polished glassware and bar displays; assist with teardown and reset.
• Inventory and label alcohol; support full venue reset for next event.
• ID guests under 25 and ensure responsible alcohol practices; refuse service when needed.
