Job summary

RA Sushi in New York is seeking a server to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment. You will anticipate guest needs, share expert menu recommendations, and ensure every guest departs with a memorable experience.

As a server, you will greet guests, take accurate orders, coordinate with the kitchen and bar, handle payments, and help maintain a polished dining room. Previous high-volume experience, knowledge of wine and cocktails, and a guest-first attitude are

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in a high-volume, upscale dining environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a guest-first attitude.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly and guiding them through the experience.
• Provide menu, specials, and beverage pairings knowledge.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter into POS.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly with proper presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns professionally.
• Assist team members to maintain smooth service flow.
• Perform opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Maintain clean and organized service areas.
• Process payments, issue receipts, and thank guests.
