Job summary

The Swinomish Casino & Lodge in Anacortes, WA seeks a Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences in an upscale setting. You will guide guests through the menu, take accurate orders, and ensure hospitality from arrival to departure.

This role requires professional, guest-focused service, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, basic cash handling, POS familiarity, and a valid Food Handler's Card. Prior fine dining experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or fine dining service preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic cash handling and POS experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler's Card and any required alcohol service permits.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional table service with a focus on guest satisfaction and attention to detail.
• Present menus, describe menu items, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process guest payments.
• Monitor guest dining experiences, anticipate needs, and provide timely service throughout each course.
• Maintain beverage service, including refilling water, coffee, and other beverages as needed.
• Assist with table clearing, resetting, and maintaining a polished dining room appearance.
• Support restaurant operations by maintaining clean, organized service stations and dining areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible service standards.
