Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a dining server for an upscale dining environment. You will maintain clean dining areas, assist with some food prep, and support catering events as needed.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, and describing menu items with allergen details. A focus on hospitality, teamwork, and precise service is essential to deliver an exceptional resident experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year (preferably 2–3) waiting in a fine dining or country club venue.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, diet orders, and resident preferences.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks with interruptions and to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service reflecting an upscale dining experience.
• Take and serve orders promptly; greet guests with courtesy and friendliness.
• Know menu details, allergens, and describe preparation to guests.
• Make recommendations and manage beverage service and drink recipes.
• Set up dining room, buffets, and service stations; assist with cleanup.
• Ensure foods are served at proper temperatures and quality is checked.
