Job summary

Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast in Bay St. Louis, MS is hiring for a hospitality-focused bartender role. You will craft and serve cocktails, monitor guest intoxication, and resolve service issues while delivering fast, friendly service in a dynamic casino environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, upselling, cash handling, and adhering to health and safety guidelines. Must be 21+ with GED/HS diploma and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma; six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to count money and provide correct change.
• Must be able to work high-volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Familiarity with cocktail ingredients and proper mixing/pouring techniques.
• Ability to work in small, fast-paced, crowded environments.
• Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide upscale guest experience by making and serving craft cocktails and drinks.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
• Resolve service problems according to established guidelines and escalate to Food & Beverage leadership as needed.
• Provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service.
• Maintain knowledge of all products, casino events, amenities, and promotions.
• upsell products to increase sales and guest loyalty.
• Operate and maintain all equipment and utensils per guidelines and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, stocked workstation in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Support superior customer service in line with department and company standards.
