Job summary

InterContinental Miami is seeking a Cocktail Server to provide fast, courteous beverage service with polished presentation. You may also assist with food service and support the Bartender with setup and buffet maintenance.

This role requires knowledge of liquor products, the ability to upsell, and adherence to safety guidelines. Expect to work in a busy lounge, bar, and adjacent dining areas with potential night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Experience in guest-facing roles preferred.
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, and garnishments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly.
• Serve cocktails and menu items, upsell when possible.
• Maintain stock, clean stations, and assist with setup of appetizers or buffet.
• Record orders and process payments per hotel procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness of tables, stools, and service areas.
• Assist Bartender with garnishes and setup as needed.
• Monitor alcohol service and alert management to incidents when necessary.
