Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah seeks a Bartender for the Flo Lobby Lounge. This full-time role crafts and serves beverages with precision and warmth, contributing to luxury guest experiences.

You’ll maintain bar operations, uphold service standards, and work with a polished lounge team to create an engaging, upscale environment. Requirements include 1–2 years of bartending in high-volume settings, strong mixology skills, POS/cash handling, Utah servers permits, and legal age to serve

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a bartender in a high-volume or upscale setting.
• Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and beer with strong cocktail-making skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.
• Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server Permit required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Utah.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and serve beverages according to resort standards and recipes.
• Deliver engaging, personalized service, anticipating guest needs.
• Maintain knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and lounge menu items.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service per Utah DABS and resort policies.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization throughout shifts.
• Set up and break down bar, restock liquor and supplies.
• Process orders and payments using the resort POS system.
• Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and management for seamless service.
• Assist with inventory control and beverage education sessions.
