Job summary

The Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood is seeking a bartender to greet guests, craft drinks to recipes, upsell, and ensure accurate cash handling. You will maintain Bar1200 setups and uphold liquor regulations while delivering friendly, prompt service.

Candidates should have high school diploma or GED, relevant certifications (TIPS, RBS) and English proficiency, with flexibility for all shifts, including weekends and holidays. This role offers tips in addition to hourly pay.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or GED, or related experience.
Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments preferred.
Must have Food Handlers card, TIPS and RBS certifications.
Proficient in English, verbal and written.
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Follow recipes to make and serve a wide variety of mixed drinks.
Adhere to cash handling and credit policies and procedures.
Maintain knowledge of state liquor regulations, including minors and intoxicated persons.
Set up Bar1200; complete pre-opening, opening, and closing side work.
Check identifications to verify legal age (21).
Cross-train in other F&B areas.
