Granada Hotel & Bistro in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a part-time bartender to serve food and beverages with the highest level of customer service, maintain the front of house and bar area, and master all menu descriptions and specialty cocktails.

You will describe dishes, take orders, ring in items into the POS, and upsell to boost revenue while keeping the bar clean and safe, handling guest requests and dietary needs with professionalism.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years combined server and bartending experience in upscale setting.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in describing menu items, specials, and wine.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and flavor profiles.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and payments.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage orders with accuracy and courtesy.
• Describe menu items, allergies, and dietary restrictions to guests.
• Mix and serve cocktails; maintain bar cleanliness and organization.
