Job summary

Sushi by Bou is seeking a Barback to support beverage and front-of-house service, keeping the bar stocked, organized and ready for each seating. The ideal candidate works with urgency, notices what the team needs and takes pride in maintaining an efficient service environment.

Pay is $11.35 per hour plus tips. Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required. Responsibilities include restocking, maintaining glassware and assisting with service flow.

Qualifications

• Previous barback or restaurant support experience in an upscale setting preferred.
• Familiarity with bar supplies and service procedures.
• Strong awareness, urgency and attention to detail.
• Dependable and responsive to team needs.
• Ability to remain active throughout each shift and safely lift and carry supplies.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and restock the bar and other service areas.
• Maintain glassware, ice, beverages, utensils and supplies.
• Replenish items promptly throughout service.
• Run service items and assist with clearing and resetting between seatings.
• Keep workstations and storage areas clean and orderly.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Follow sanitation and safety requirements.
