Fontainebleau Las Vegas is seeking a Bus Person to maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, clear and reset tables, and provide efficient support to bartenders and servers, ensuring a seamless guest experience.

The role requires a friendly demeanor, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends. Prior upscale bar or restaurant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a Bus Person or similar role in an upscale bar, lounge, or restaurant is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail to ensure the bar area is immaculate and adheres to high standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift and carry heavy trays or bus tubs.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with the bartenders, servers, and guests.
• Positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional service to our esteemed guests.
• Knowledge of basic bar operations and service etiquette is a plus.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere for incoming guests.
• Collect used glassware, plates, and other dishware from tables and deliver them to the designated area for cleaning.
• Ensure the bar counter is kept clean and organized, promptly clearing empty glasses and bar accessories.
• Assist the bartenders and servers by delivering drinks to guests, replenishing water glasses, and providing attentive service.
• Set up tables with clean glassware, napkins, and utensils following Bleau Bar's service standards.
• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, assist with seating, and respond to guest requests courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bar area, including bar tops, floors, and surrounding surfaces, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the bartenders, servers, and other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient bar operations.
• Support the team during peak hours or special events, adapting to high-demand situations while maintaining service standards.
• Assist in restocking the bar with glassware, straws, napkins, and other supplies as needed.
