Job summary

The Biltmore Company is seeking a part-time Bartender for Cedric's Tavern in Asheville. The role involves greeting guests, preparing beverages, handling orders in a POS system, and delivering exceptional service while maintaining bar cleanliness.

We require a high school diploma or GED, six months of bartending experience, basic math skills, and a willingness to obtain TIPS/ALE certification. Must be 21+ with flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver gracious hospitality.
• Take orders, utilize product knowledge, and upsell.
• Enter orders into POS; track tabs and charges.
• Serve food and beverages promptly according to standards.
• Ensure guests have utensils, condiments, and supplies.
• Bus/ pre-bus glassware and keep bar area clean.
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive relations.
• Resolve guest issues to standard satisfaction.
• Keep work area stocked, prepped, and set.
• Perform opening/closing duties as assigned.
