AEC UPS USA LLC in Miami, FL is seeking a Technical Associate for UPS & Power Systems (Pre-Sales & Technical Support). The role combines technical pre-sales with post-sales support, engaging engineers, distributors, and C-level decision-makers, with on-site presence in Doral and planned travel to customer sites.

Ideal candidates have a background in electrical engineering and power systems, strong presentation skills, and a willingness to grow with a young company.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical pre-sales and/or post-sales support.
• Background in electrical engineering, power systems, UPS, renewable energy, switchgear, or related industries
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills, able to engage both technical and executive audiences
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field preferred
• Based in the Miami area, or willing to relocate and work on-site in Doral, FL
• Motivated, energetic, and eager to learn and grow with a young company; early-career candidates are welcome to apply

• Review of project specifications and recommendation of the right technical solution
• Support to the sales team in customer meetings, technical presentations, and solution discussions
• Confident presentation of technical solutions to audiences from engineers to executives
• Training and demonstrations
• Virtual product demonstrations and technical training sessions
• Hands-on product training for customers, partners, and distributors, including on-site sessions
• After-sales technical assistance
• Phone and remote technical support: troubleshooting, application guidance, and customer assistance throughout the project lifecycle
• Close collaboration with customers, distributors, and engineering teams to ensure successful project implementation
• On-site at our Doral, FL office, 5 days a week
• Planned travel to visit customers, partners, and distributors for meetings and trainings
• Technical assistance by phone, pre-sales, and after-sales technical support are core responsibilities of this role
• Important note: this role is sales- and relationship-driven, not a hands-on field service position. We are looking for someone who can lead a technical conversation with confidence, not swap out components

About the role

As our Technical Associate, you will be the technical voice of AEC UPS USA. You will support our sales team with pre-sales engineering and take ownership of technical assistance after the sale, over the phone and in person.

This is a customer-facing role for someone who combines a solid technical background with strong presentation and communication skills, and who is comfortable speaking with engineers, distributors, and C-level decision-makers (CTOs, CIOs) alike.

What you will be responsible for

• Technical pre-sales support: product selection, system sizing, and proposal preparation
