Job summary

White-Recruitment is partnering with a specialist critical power company to hire a UPS Field Service Engineer to service mission-critical facilities in South Florida and surrounding regions. You will commission, maintain and troubleshoot UPS systems, batteries, PDUs and transfer switches.

This role involves travel within the region with possible national trips, on-call duties, and nights/weekends. Prior UPS field service experience and strong fault-finding skills are essential, along with a

Qualifications

• At least 3 years UPS field service experience.
• OEM factory training or hands-on with Vertiv/Liebert, Schneider/APC/MGE or Eaton/Powerware/PDI equipment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a clean driving record.
• Based in or around Atlanta, relevant military technical backgrounds welcomed.

UPS Field Service Engineer

The Role

• Commission, maintain and troubleshoot UPS systems, batteries, PDUs and static transfer switches.
• Carry out equipment start-ups, repairs, testing and emergency call-outs.
• Prepare service reports and support the development of maintenance and testing procedures.
• Travel primarily within the region, with occasional national travel and flexibility for nights, weekends and on-call duties.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years’ relevant UPS field service experience.
• OEM factory training or hands-on experience with Vertiv/Liebert, Schneider/APC/MGE or Eaton/Powerware/PDI equipment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and a clean driving record.
