Job Description

The UPS Digital Product Marketing & Partner Growth Segment Manager is responsible for commercializing UPS Digital products and capabilities while driving activation, adoption, utilization, and revenue growth through internal UPS organizations and external strategic partner channels. This role develops and executes partner-focused commercialization strategies, value propositions, positioning, messaging, enablement programs, and growth initiatives that help partners effectively understand, communicate, activate, and expand the use of UPS Digital solutions. The position supports the successful introduction of new products, features, and enhancements while maximizing adoption and utilization across existing partner relationships. Working across Product Marketing, Strategic Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Digital, and Operations teams, the role serves as the connection point between product value and partner execution. The position is focused on activating and cultivating existing partner ecosystems, creating scalable engagement programs that accelerate time-to-value, influence customer and partner behavior, and drive measurable business outcomes. Success will be measured through commercialization effectiveness, partner activation, adoption, utilization, engagement, expansion, and revenue contribution.

Key Responsibilities
Product Marketing & Commercialization
  • Develop commercialization strategies for new and existing UPS Digital products, capabilities, services, and enhancements.
  • Create compelling value propositions, positioning, messaging frameworks, and partner-facing narratives that clearly articulate customer and business value.
  • Lead partner-facing launch and adoption plans that accelerate awareness, understanding, and utilization of new capabilities.
  • Translate product capabilities into meaningful use cases, business outcomes, and customer benefits for internal and external partner audiences.
  • Develop partner enablement materials, sales tools, presentations, case studies, playbooks, and content that support commercialization and growth objectives.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and business stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging, positioning, and market readiness across partner channels.
Partner Activation & Growth
  • Develop and execute activation strategies that accelerate partner readiness, engagement, and adoption of UPS Digital solutions.
  • Design scalable onboarding, enablement, and engagement programs for both internal UPS stakeholders and external partners.
  • Create lifecycle strategies that increase utilization, feature adoption, retention, and expansion across existing partner relationships.
  • Develop targeted partner communications and campaigns that influence behavior and drive measurable growth outcomes.
  • Support partners in effectively positioning UPS Digital solutions within their customer journeys, platforms, and business processes.
  • Identify opportunities to increase partner productivity, customer utilization, and revenue contribution through existing channels.
Digital Adoption & Engagement
  • Collaborate with Product, Digital, and partner teams to improve feature discoverability, user engagement, and utilization through digital experiences and on-platform tactics.
  • Apply customer journey, user experience, and behavioral marketing principles to improve activation and adoption outcomes.
  • Develop on-platform messaging, educational content, and engagement tactics that increase awareness and utilization of UPS Digital capabilities.
  • Identify friction points that limit adoption and recommend strategies that improve partner and customer experiences.
  • Support testing and optimization of messaging, content, digital placements, and engagement programs to improve performance.
Insights & Performance Optimization
  • Monitor activation, adoption, utilization, engagement, and revenue performance across partner ecosystems.
  • Analyze partner and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities, adoption barriers, and underutilized capabilities.
  • Use insights and data to optimize messaging, commercialization approaches, enablement programs, and growth initiatives.
  • Establish meaningful performance metrics and communicate recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance partner effectiveness and commercial outcomes.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Strategic Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Digital, and Operations teams to align growth initiatives and priorities.
  • Influence stakeholders across a complex matrixed organization without direct authority.
  • Develop scalable frameworks, best practices, and growth playbooks that support commercialization and partner success.
  • Champion partner and customer needs while balancing business objectives and commercial outcomes.
  • Drive alignment across teams to ensure successful execution of commercialization, activation, and growth initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, strategy, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Growth Marketing, Commercialization, Lifecycle Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing go‑to‑market, commercialization, positioning, and messaging strategies for digital, technology, or enterprise solutions.
  • Experience driving adoption, engagement, utilization, and growth initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Experience creating enablement programs, customer or partner journeys, and growth campaigns that influence behavior and business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of partner ecosystems, customer journeys, lifecycle marketing, and partner engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive results within a cross‑functional, matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with strategic partnerships, channel programs, technology alliances, marketplaces, or platform ecosystems. Experience commercializing SaaS, digital platforms, enterprise technology, or digitally enabled services. Understanding of user experience (UX), user interface (UI), customer journey optimization, and on‑platform engagement tactics. Experience developing partner enablement, onboarding, adoption, and utilization programs. Demonstrated ability to drive growth through indirect channels and partner‑led business models. Experience supporting revenue growth initiatives through partner activation, engagement, and expansion strategies.

  • Location - Alpharetta, GA (GAAPR) must reside in the geographic region of Alpharetta, GA or willing to self‑relocate in the area.
