Job summary
Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge, MA seeks a part-time Upper School Robotics Teacher & Program Coordinator to lead and grow the robotics program while contributing to the academic life of the Upper School. This role combines teaching, mentorship, and program leadership with a focus on competitive robotics and interdisciplinary engineering experiences for students.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Education Technology, or related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience with FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) or other competitive robotics programs.
- Experience mentoring or coaching robotics teams.
- Proficiency in Java, Python or similar robotics programming environments.
- Experience with CAD tools such as Onshape or SolidWorks.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a Robotics Lab and sustainable robotics ecosystem.
- Plan and develop age-appropriate Robotics/CAD/digital fabrication curriculum.
- Guide continued development of the FIRST Robotics Competition program as lead mentor.
- Supervise students in classrooms and during trips; address academic/behavioral issues.
