Thayer Academy in Massachusetts (Braintree) is seeking a part-time Design, Art & Entrepreneurship Technician to support student projects in the Collaborative Design Lab and Entrepreneurship Program. You will assist with design, fabrication, prototyping, and preparation of materials for classes.

This hands-on role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 0–2 years in K–12 or youth programs. Flexibility to support multiple courses and disciplines is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, Fine Arts, or related field.

• Familiarity with design thinking, fabrication tools, digital design software, and project-based learning.

Upper School Part-Time Design & Entrepreneurship TechnicianPosition OverviewThe Collaborative Design Lab (CDL) and Entrepreneurship Program are expanding, driven by growing student interest through the 9th Grade Arts Rotation and Entrepreneurship courses. We are seeking a part-time Design, Art & Entrepreneurship Technician to support student project development, maintain and oversee the lab environment, and assist with fabrication and prototyping activities.This role is ideal for someone interested in applying design, making, and fabrication skills within a project-based educational setting.
