Position Description

As an Upper School Front Office Manager at SSSAS, you will support the smooth operation of administrative functions within the school. You will work closely with the Upper School Division Director, administrative team, faculty, students, and parents to provide support and guidance in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in administrative roles, highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. A positive, optimistic, and welcoming disposition is essential.

Please note: The position is 40 hours during summer months and part-time (20 hours) during the school year.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a welcoming and organized front office, greet visitors, and manage administrative responsibilities professionally.
  2. Answer the main phone line, direct calls, and assist parents, students, and teachers with inquiries.
  3. Coordinate with maintenance and security to implement building safety protocols, including guest access and registration.
  4. Review and forward emails/requests from the school's website.
  5. Update the Upper School calendar and electronic display screens.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
  2. Experience in an administrative role, preferably in education.
  3. Proficiency with digital platforms (Google Docs, Sheets, Excel), excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  5. Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and professionalism.
  6. Experience coordinating events for groups.
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  8. Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently and in a team.
  9. Knowledge of school policies is a plus.
