Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience working with high school students in teaching, academic coaching, or learning support.
• Understanding of executive functioning skills, adolescent development, and effective learning strategies.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to integrate Christian faith authentically and thoughtfully in the context of this work.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic coaching to students in grades 9-12, emphasizing executive functioning skills and effective learning habits.
• Meet regularly with students to establish goals, monitor progress, and develop strategies for managing academic responsibilities.
• Help students develop organization, planning, time management, study, and self-advocacy skills.
• Collaborate with the Academic Support Coordinator, teachers, and families to support student growth, including helping teachers identify and implement effective classroom strategies for students who need additional academic support.
• Maintain appropriate records of student progress and participate in relevant faculty collaboration and professional development.
