Job summary

New Paradigm for Education in Detroit is seeking an Upper Elementary Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction for students in grades 3–5. You will utilize our curriculum, build strong relationships with students and families, and drive achievement through data-informed planning.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Michigan teaching certification, with a commitment to culturally responsive teaching and collaboration within a rigorous, supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in elementary education.
• Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate.
• Prior classroom experience in grades 3-5 preferred.
• Strong alignment with our mission and goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high-quality instruction using our curriculum.
