The Upper Elementary Montessori Trained Lead guides students through hands‑on, student‑centered learning that promotes independence, responsibility, and a love of learning. The teacher demonstrates a deep commitment to authentic Montessori practice and works collaboratively within a supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide students in a prepared Montessori environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and needs.
• Interact respectfully with each child, honoring their dignity and individuality.
• Collaborate with the assistant teacher and faculty to support lesson planning, classroom management, and student development.
• Build positive, cooperative relationships with families and encourage their involvement.
• Attend faculty meetings and professional development days.
• Maintain confidentiality and support students during daily transitions, including arrival, dismissal, lunch, and recess.
