UPMC Presbyterian's Environmental Services team is seeking a Full-Time Evening Shift EVS Associate to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for patients, visitors, and staff. You will clean patient rooms, public areas, offices, and equipment to hospital standards while following established procedures.

This hands-on role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Prior housekeeping experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Make beds, following established cleaning procedures in patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned.
• Inspect and ensure areas are cleaned and in good repair; report problems to supervisor.
• Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations of assigned areas.
• Clean all assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices and equipment, following procedures.
• Maintain assigned equipment in clean, working condition; report problems and suggestions to supervisor.
• Remove trash from all assigned areas.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Move equipment, furniture, boxes, wash walls, spot carpets, etc. as assigned.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete housekeeping duties.
• Ability to use housekeeping equipment.
• May be in rooms where medications are stored; no contact with medications allowed.
