Job summary

Havenly seeks an Assistant Sourcing Manager in New York to support our Furniture Sourcing Manager. You’ll help manage vendor relationships, coordinate RFPs, maintain BOMs, and assist with cost analysis to meet cost and margin targets.

You’ll collaborate with design, product development and operations to ensure upholstery products meet aesthetic and functional standards while staying within budget. This role suits someone with 3–5 years in sourcing aiming for leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply-chain management, business, industrial design or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply-chain.
• Familiarity with BOMs and ERP/MRP systems or advanced spreadsheets.
• Experience with cost analysis and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating upholstery manufacturers and material suppliers across Asia, Europe and the United States.
• Draft RFPs, compare proposals and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Update and maintain BOMs and gather cost inputs for materials and packaging.
• Coordinate packaging specs, order custom packaging and ensure efficient, sustainable packing.
