Job summary

DARRAN in High Point, NC, seeks an Upholstery Setup Technician for its Seating Manufacturing Plant. You will prepare frames for upholstery by installing webbing and spring systems and set up upholstery equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality production of seating products.

Responsibilities include interpreting work orders, measuring and cutting webbing, and using pneumatic staple guns and hand tools to assemble and secure components. Safety and quality are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in webbing and spring assembly for furniture manufacturing.
• Ability to read work orders and specifications.
• Strong attention to quality and safety standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install webbing and springs on furniture frames according to specs.
• Measure, cut, and attach webbing with stapler guns for proper tension.
• Position springs and use clips and ties for durability.
• Prepare materials and set up upholstery machinery and workstations.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report quality/safety issues.
