Employers Overload in Newberg, OR is seeking an Upholstery Installer to support the production team in layout, cutting and sewing of vinyl upholstery assemblies. This entry-level position offers hands-on training and cross-training opportunities.

You will operate basic tools and sewing machines under supervision, maintain an orderly workspace, and follow safety procedures while contributing to production goals. The role provides temp-to-hire potential with regular overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of upholstery or textile work preferred.
• Physically capable of operating vinyl preparation and sewing equipment.
• Willingness to receive training and assist other team members.
• Minimum 3 months of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate basic hand and power tools, including cutters and sewing machines, with guidance.
• Assist in vinyl layout, cutting, and simple sewing tasks.
• Participate in cross-training to learn additional production tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow established safety and production procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
