Job summary

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking an Upholstery Sewer to join our team in Watertown, SD. You will fabricate, repair, and restore furniture and cushions, working with vinyl, leather, and fabric to meet our standards for appearance, quality and durability.

Attention to detail and the ability to follow design patterns are essential as you produce defect-free pieces while maintaining a clean, safe work area and documenting production steps.

Qualifications

• Sewing experience with textiles including vinyl, leather and fabric.
• Proven upholstery experience preferred.
• Vinyl pattern layout and cutting experience.
• Ability to produce defect-free products meeting quality standards.
• Ability to complete work within time standards.
• Adherence to safety standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Layout and cut vinyl fabric
• Sew vinyl and miscellaneous fabrics
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Maintain sewing machine maintenance
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms
• Utilize Kanban system to restock depleted materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking an Upholstery Sewer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and restoration of furniture, cushions, and other upholstered products. The Upholsterer works with a variety of textiles such as vinyl, leather, and fabric, ensuring that the end product meets company standards for appearance, quality, and durability. Attention to detail, the ability to follow design patterns, and a strong understanding of upholstery techniques are key in this role.

• Layout and cut vinyl fabric
