Job summary

Haworth, Inc. in Conover, NC is seeking a CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for high-end office chairs and upholstered products using AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, and PathWorks, collaborating with engineers and production staff to ensure quality and efficiency.

You will analyze drawings, generate tool paths, and troubleshoot production issues while training operators and supporting continuous improvement in a cell-based environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant certification or vocational training may be preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in CNC programming, CAD/CAM or related manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering drawings to determine CNC programming requirements.
• Develop and modify CNC programs for new and revised parts.
• Collaborate with engineers to establish labor standards and cost estimates.
• Operate CNC equipment for process improvement and testing.
• Train operators on safe and effective CNC machine use.
• Develop tooling standards and documentation for CNC processes.
