Job summary

Century Furniture LLC is seeking an upholsterer to apply padding and fabric to furniture frames. You will build pieces so the cover is smooth and properly fits the frame, reading and following production tickets and performing tufting and line work as needed.

The role requires manual dexterity and the ability to work standing for long periods in a noisy production environment, with safety procedures followed at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous upholstery experience is a plus.
• Ability to read production tickets and follow instructions.
• Must stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Apply padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame.
• Build pieces so fabric covers are smooth and fit the frame.
• Read and follow production tickets.
• Line, spot match, 4-way line and tuft as required.
