Job summary

Century Furniture LLC is hiring an Upholsterer to apply padding and fabric to furniture frames in our Conover, NC facility. You will use hand and power tools to ensure the cover is smooth and fits the frame, reading production tickets to perform line, tuft, and 4-way line work.

The role requires reading production instructions and maintaining safety standards in a busy environment, with duties including stacking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Upholstery experience a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Apply padding and upholstery fabric to wood frames using hand and power tools.
• Build pieces so cover is smooth and fits the frame properly.
• Read and follow production tickets; line, spot match, 4-way line and tuft.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
