Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking an Upgrade Material Stocker for the 1st shift in our Production department.

The role focuses on assembling and readying for shipment a variety of plumbing parts and components, while operating and servicing production machines within an Assemble-to-Order environment. You will rotate across stations, stock and pack parts, trace counts and quality, and support improvements in the work area.

Qualifications

• Operates and services a variety of production machines in an Assemble-to-Order work environment.
• Assembles and packs a variety of standard parts, may supply parts of a line or a feeder process.
• Must be able to flex to all jobs on the Assemble-to-Order line.
• Will occasionally transport materials through the plant as needed.
• Cross-train on other jobs in home department and other departments as needed.
• Records product count, scrap, time etc.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a neat, orderly, and safe work area.
• Responsible for label printer operations and minor troubleshooting
• May be required to complete shipping papers to process complete assemblies
• Responsible for identifying and implementing improvement ideas in work area.
• Will be required to rotate to multiple jobs throughout work day
• Works in a team and is responsible to use own time efficiently

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $33,300 USD - $45,760 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
