Job summary

Ed Morse Automotive Group in South Carolina is looking for an entry level automotive technician to join our team. You will perform maintenance and repair work under dealership standards, ensuring quality service and safety checks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work as specified on orders.
• Suggest lubrication, safety inspections and related services as needed.
• Inspect fluid levels and replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with parts department to obtain parts.
• Document work performed on repair order, road-test vehicles.

Ed Morse is curently seeking anEntry Level Automotive Technicianto join our team.

Responsibilities

• Entry Level Automotive technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Sells lubrication, safety inspection and other related services
• Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replenishes as necessary
• Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Road tests vehicles

Qualifications

• As an Automotive Technician (Automotive Mechanic), you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver.
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen
